What got you into riding a snowboard? My brother and skateboarding

Who are the riders that impress and inspire you the most and why?Pat A. Great coach, fun guy to be around, and always inspirational. Any rider having fun.

If you could pick any song in the world to use in a video part what would it be?First of all impossible, but I think there's a few Britney Spears songs that would work...haha no probably the California remix by Rusko.

When you aren't shredding what are you up to?Photography, girls, skateboarding and having a good time in any aspect.

If you could go on a date with any person in the world, who would it be?Carly Williams!

Snowy pow day or sunny park day?Sunny pow week!

What are your thoughts on the recent progression of snowboarding?I think it's amazing it's become such a sport to watch that it's easier for people to get into understanding the scene. And tell me who doesn't like a double cork?

Which 11/12 SIMS board do you prefer to ride? The Switchblade 154, and Rules! 151.

SIMS is celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year. What does that mean to you? That SIMS is legit, has roots, and helped pioneer what snowboarding is today. Also that I hope to be able to celebrate a 35th birthday someday as well.

What did you do over the summer?I coached for High Cascade snowboard camp, coaching 12-17 year olds. I also was able to get some free time as well to progress my own riding and prepare for this next season.

What are your goals for the 11/12 season?Keep pushing my riding, and ranking in both the World Tour, and Dew Tour. Ultimately working towards a podium at a major event.

What is your first memory of the SIMS brand? No specific image just always an awesome SIMS back cover in Snowboarder Magazine. Also, the SIMS Switchblade was my older brother’s first board and as he was my biggest influence, obviously what his first snowboard was sticks in my mind.
