What got you into riding a snowboard? I started when I was 7. Because I thought it looked fun. & it is!

Who are the riders that impress and inspire you the most and why? Daniel Franck, when i was younger. Because he was the "underdog" of the time! And killed it so hard! I like to think we're similar... But that's for the people to decide.

What trick do you wish you could master? Backside 1080

If you could pick any song in the world to use in a video part what would it be? Jitterbug... Kidding. I don't know, there are way too many to choose from.

When you aren’t shredding what are you up to? Running, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, hockey, iPhone, interneting, etc.

What do you plan on doing once your snowboarding career ends? Maybe work for SIMS? If Bruce will let me... For a reasonable salary!

You have houses in Breck and Denver, which spot do you like better? I really like aspects of both. I love Denver as a city, there are a ton of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. But Breck is a great getaway in the summer when it's too hot in Denver. It's also really nice being able to live there so i can ride everyday i'm home on the best pipe and jumps in the country.

How fast can you run a mile? I have run a mile in 6:45 before... however on longer runs (5+) i average about 8:30.

How does it feel to be a two-time X Games gold medalist?It's really nice knowing that I'm just one of 3 people in Snowboarding to do that. It's a real honor.

 

Which medal was more exciting to win ‘04 or ‘07?'07 was better because I beat out Shaun, after he had 2 perfect seasons (won every event).
