SIMS recently teamed up with
Mazda to help promote Mazda’s new CX-5. You may be asking yourself, why is this notable? Well, if you haven’t seen the 30 second TV commercial, it promotes a message of ‘uncompromising creativity’ and features Tom as the Inventor of the Snowboard! It’s pretty amazing to see Tom celebrated in a commercial seen by millions of people who have varying degrees of familiarity with snowboarding. Just another step in securing Tom’s legacy as a pioneer of the sideways standing discipline we have all come to love. A huge thanks to Mazda for helping to showcase a piece of historical Snowboarding through mass media.
